As we are shortstaffed and trying to navigate the new way of doing business in these times we have just made the decision that we will require two weeks notice for all custom cake orders. You can still get any of our torte cakes available in the front or online. Also in the next few weeks we will roll out with a couple of new styles of torte cakes that will be available for shorter notice so you have a nice variety. Any cake orders that we have already started through email we will continue to do, sorry for any inconvenience.

We want you to know that we are aware of the COVID-19 situation that is rapidly developing around us. We love our community and we take its happiness and health seriously. It is business as usual here at Monzù until we are advised otherwise till this outbreak runs its course in our area. At the bakery we are taking all necessary precautions and are keeping up on all sanitation standards. We are a fully licensed and inspected facility. We have certified Food Safety Managers on site and follow all the rules for sanitation and glove use. We have been upholding a high standard for food safety long before COVID-19 and we will be vigilant during as well as after this situation resolves. 

We understand that there will be a lot of event cancellations in the coming weeks, and we ask for as much notice as possible, since as a small business we can not be spending more money in production than we are bringing in revenue. If you are just postponing your event we are more then happy to hold onto your order till the future date. Also until further notice ALL orders taken from today forward will require a 50% deposit. If your event is cancelled within a timely period up to 50% of that deposit will be refundable. However if any orders are cancelled within 5 days of the event there will be no refunds, as time and money all ready have started to go into purchasing materials and production of your sweet treats. 

Also don’t forget we partner with food delivery services like Grubhub, Eatstreet, and Fooddudes, if you do not want to venture out to satisfy your sweet-tooth! 

Please contact us to start creating your unique wedding cake. Wedding cake prices start at $3.00 a slice for buttercream and $4.00 a slice for fondant. There is an additional charge for some designs. A popular thing right now to save money is to get a smaller display cake and kitchen sheet cakes. Sheet cakes are $1.75 a slice. You can choose any flavor (even a different one for each tier) and it will not change the price. We charge $35 for in town delivery of cakes. You are welcome to visit us anytime to browse our selection of model cakes and photos. To ensure that we will have time to discuss your personalized wedding/event cake, we ask that you make an appointment. You can book your consultation on our website.

If you are worried about your date being filled before your appointment, you can always stop in and put a $100 down now to make sure your date will defiantly be open for you.

We will be open 9-5:30 on Tuesday December 31st and Closed New Year’s day. Please plan accordingly when ordering your cakes for the weekend. We require a minimum notice of 72 hours for basic torte cake orders and at least a week for more intricate and custom cakes. Thank you and have a happy and safe New Year’s!! 🎉🥳

With the warm weather finally here, many of us are excited to get out into the warmth of the sun!
As much as you may have been made for sunny days, your cakes and desserts are just not cut out for it.

We would love to remind everyone that your cake and desserts should be the last stop when running errands, and should never be allowed to sit in your car for an extended period of time. Our products are made with real butter, which means they will melt if left in the heat for too long.

Worried about transporting a cake this summer? Blast your air conditioning and bring a sweater! Try to make your vehicle as cold as you can, especially when driving long distances.

Our hours are changing slightly to fit with our new baking timeline. We will now be opening at 9 am Tuesday-Sunday. Sorry for any inconvenience.
